DEAF BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP OF AMERICA

 

The host church for the Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America must be a deaf ministry or church that has been in the ministry of the deaf five (5) years or more before they could be qualified to make such a bid.  In order for a church to make a bid to host Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America, the church must be an independent fundamental Baptist church.  To be eligible to host the Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America, a representative for each bidding church must submit a letter of full approval and cooperation from the head pastor of that church to the Executive Board for verification.  This should be done three (3) years before the fellowship.  If a local church desires to use rented or borrowed buildings to host the Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America, the representative should still have a letter of approval from his pastor.  The letter must state that the local church will fully cooperate with the Deaf Baptist Fellowship of America Team in hosting the fellowship.  The Executive Board will decide approval of the qualifications of the possible hosts for future fellowship sites.  Then the decision on the site is decided by one vote by each delegate from each independent fundamental Baptist church represented at the fellowship.  The representative of the already chosen host church or location must comply with the rules and by-laws of the fellowship.  The representative must show up for support and promotion for the two years prior to hosting the fellowship.
